Terrace Ridge Resort

Terrace Ridge, a tranquil location less than 10 minutes from the Magic of Disney.  Yet just minutes to the I-4 interstate and highway US-192 giving you easy access to Orlando International and Orlando Sanford Airports, East and West coast beaches, theme parks, attractions, shopping and restaurants.

Two minutes drive is the Reunion and ChampionsGate with its world renowned golf courses, restaurants, shops, gas stations, takeaways, a large Publix supermarket and CVS pharmacy.

Golfers are spoilt for choice with the abundance of championship golf courses that are in this region; our nearest golf course being ChampionsGate Golf Club with its World renowned David Leadbetter Golf Academy and its Greg Norman design golf course. Florida is the golfer’s paradise with over 150 superb courses within an hours drive. Other challenging courses within minutes of our home include Highlands Reserve, Ridgeway Lakes, Providence, Orange Lake and Mystic Dunes. For those wanting a bit of fun there are plenty of places along the US-192 for a game of crazy golf.

Driving Directions from the condo

Disney

From the Terrace Ridge gates, turn right on to Town Center Boulevard. Continue to next junction and turn right on to Lake Wilson Road (545). Follow this road right to the end (5 miles), where it meets US Highway 192. Turn Right. Continue for just 2 miles, where you will see a signpost for all Disney Parks and Attractions. The turn off is World Drive, which is just 9 miles from the condo, taking around 10 minutes (depending on traffic conditions). World Drive leads to: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, and Animal Kingdom. Also the Disney Water parks, Golf courses, and Downtown Disney.

US-192

As per directions above, the 192 stretches for a number of miles and has a high concentration of Restaurants, Shops and other attractions.

International Drive

International Drive South is also accessible from the 192. International Drive South becomes just International Drive. As per the 192, this road also has a high volume of Restaurants, Shops and other attractions, most notably Sea World, Discovery Cove, and on to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

Florida Mall

Although both the 192 and International Drive have lots of shopping facilities, the Florida Mall is by far the biggest.

From the Terrace Ridge gates, turn right on to Town Center Boulevard. Continue to next junction and turn right on to Lake Wilson Road (545). Continue to the next set of traffic lights and turn left on to Highway 532. Continue for around 1.5 miles, turning right on to Interstate 4 (I4). Proceed to the next exit (exit 62), picking up Celebration Boulevard. This becomes the Central Florida Greeneway (417), which is subject to Tolls. Continue to exit 11, turning left on to the Orange Blossom Trail (17/92). Continue for about 9 miles. Florida Mall is on the right.

ChampionsGate

From the Terrace Ridge gates, turn right on to Town Center Boulevard. Continue to next junction and turn right on to Lake Wilson Road (545). Continue to the next set of traffic lights and turn left on to Highway 532. Continue for around 2.0 miles to ChampionsGate. To your left you will find a BP Petrol Station. 300 yards further on, to your right is the 4 Corners commercial centre. Here there is a CVS Pharmacy, ‘drive through’ McDonalds restaurant, Italian Restaurant and Pizza takeaway/delivery service, Chinese takeaway/delivery, UPS office with Internet access, and a Chilli's Restaurant. The main part of the centre is the Publix Supermarket. The excellent Championsgate Golf Course is also in this area (and is clearly sign posted from the Commercial centre).

East & West Coast

Including Busch Gardens, St. Petersburg, Clearwater and other Gulf Coast resorts. Drive towards ChampionsGate (as per ChampionsGate above), but turn left on to the I4, heading West and follow signs.

Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral. Turn right on to I4 (as per Florida Mall). Continue to exit 72, then follow the Beachline Expressway (528 – subject to toll) and follow signs.
